The Yallourn North & District Historical Society dedicate to future generations a living history of the Old Brown Coal Mine,Yallourn North, Yallourn and the former State Electricity Commission of Victoria works area and the Yallourn Power Stations.
The museum houses a collection of photo's, displays, family stories and memorabilia from Yallourn North (Brown Coal Mine),the vanished towns of Yallourn, Hernes Oak and Morwell Bridge, the Yallourn Power Stations and the former State Electricity Commission of Victoria (S.E.C.V.)
